By Freckleberry Mom
I love this diaper! The umbilical cord snap down feature was great for the first few weeks (we still snap it down even though her cord has fallen off!). I love that this diaper looks like it will fit for a long time. The only bummer is that there's no pocket to add absorption. I worry that once my LO is older (but still tiny), she'll soak through this. But for now, this is the ONLY diaper that fits her! She's 4 weeks old, and still in Newborn disposables. No other cloth diaper has fit her yet, but this one does -- beautifully!

I ordered a few different cloth diaper options to try out before deciding which to go with for my first baby. At first, this one was my favorite.- The snap down front fit nicely on my 7 pound newborn. (We used disposable diapers that were gifts when baby was first born and was 6 lbs, 7 oz - so I am not sure of the fit on that size infant)- Love that it is all-in-one; my husband (whom really appreciates efficiency and has little patience for "complicated" diapers) was happy to put this one on our baby-Not overly bulky- Diaper only leaked once due to my error - I forgot to fold the top down for a tighter fitAs baby has been growing, I have noticed that the fleece inside is not holding up as well as I would like in the wash. Unfortunately, I am not sure that this diaper will still be usable if we have a second child. Baby is 2 months now and the diaper is still in our rotation and still working but here are some additional thoughts:- Wish there were more snaps or that the diaper were velcro. There are times when baby is in between snaps and I am not a fan of tight elastic so I just wait a couple days and she usually is on the next snap by then - not a huge deal because of the ability to fold the front down; doing this helps with in-between sizes a lot so we never have to go long with an in-between snaps problem.- I love the Kissas cotton fleece inserts that we have and I just wish that this diaper had that kind of fleece as well. Again, the fleece in this diaper is slowly wearing off with use. (I do not use a harsh detergent either, I make my own laundry detergent that is made up of 5 oz unscented castile soap bar melted in water, 1 cup washing soda, 3/4 cup borax, and 5 gallons water. Combine ingredients, mix well. Let mixture sit 24 hours before use. Stir each time before use & use about 1/3 cup per load.)- The elastic is still going strong and not too tight- This diaper dries relatively quickly and is absorbent

We absolutely love this option, having a diaper that snaps below the umbilical cord. We've dont the 3x pre-wash and it got even softer than when it arrived, it's just the softest thing ever. PLUS, it has a built-in think potty area, so if baby can't quite accomodate a cloth liner, you don't even need one!
