Amazing cover for great price - wish we had discovered earlier

I ordered a few Flip covers when our baby was 5 months old, and wish we had discovered the Flip system earlier as it is AMAZING. The covers are perfect - every bit as good as the Marvels One-Size (which we love but which cost substantially more), and I love the flexibility of being able to use the Flip covers with different types of diapers.The Flip inserts are not bulky so take up very little space in our washer (a big plus, as we do not want to be doing laundry every day), and even my husband commented on how dry they feel (on the stay-dry side) even when they are wet. For night we use Sustainable Babyish multis with SB inserts which are smaller and work better for that system, together with the Flip cover which fits perfectly over the SB system.Because Sustainable Babyish multis and the Flip covers/inserts are all one-size options, we will not need ANYTHING else for the entire diaper life of our baby - all for a single one-time investment of maybe $200. For boys I like the Ribbit dark green and Moonbeam dark blue covers the best, and we have six covers and that seems to be enough for us together with the Flip inserts (which we have in greater numbers, just to avoid worrying about laundry daily).PROS: save literally thousands of dollars, super cute, flexible, one-size fits allCoNS: none, other than I agree that these are not great for newborns. I would recommend doing disposables for the newborn stage (or something cheap like prefolds and Prorap covers with the umbilical scoop) and then investing in the Flip system once your baby is 2-3 months old.

Great diapers, not for newborns

My wife babysat our neighbor's baby and they used these diapers. She loves them and i do as well, however we attempted to use these on our newborn. Due to the constant changing it got frustrating, having to wash an insert maybe 10 minutes after we just changed the diaper. We fully intend to use them when she gets a bit older. On the plus side they fit great, was very easy to put use, and even to change, though i wouldn't recommend for newborn use.

Great for 1st time Cloth Diaper-er :)

They are easy to use and affordable. I started using them on my 2 month old exclusively breastfed son and love them. Yes his poo is runny still, but if you know an EBF baby then you know its totally normal for them to poop 8 times a day, or once a week, either is normal. I guess I got lucky because he usually only poos once a day, sometimes not at all.I do see how this diaper could be an aggrivation for babies who poop often. Its just by coincidence that I started to cloth diaper when my son was 2 months old. I probably wouldn't have liked these diapers as much a month ago when he pooped everytime he ate lol.I would reccomend these to a friend, in fact I do everywhere I go lol. I'm always showing off his cute, easy to use, affordable cloth diapers!If your going to start cloth diapering, I would suggest a one-size fits all like these. Who wants to spend hundreds of dollars everytime their baby grows into a bigger size?
