Product Description
The Super Snap is a very dependable wrap with a proven track record. It has the same fabric and the same fit as the super whisper wrap, but with snaps instead of aplix tabs. The well-placed and durable plastic snaps ensure a comfortable, adjustable fit. Durable, heavy-duty elastic around legs and tummy which will not wear out with repeated washing. Soft polyester knit bindings for a comfy, stretchy fit, and a leak-proof seal. Generous sizing means fewer wraps to buy, while still assuring a great fit. The newborn size has been adapted to accommodate the umbilical cord. Designed with durability in mind, the Super Snap is a fantastic option for industrial washing. As is true of all our wraps, the Super Snap is made with careful attention to detail in our own wonderful factory, so that we are assured of good quality and fair labor practices. The fabrics and components that we use are all sourced in North America and are guaranteed lead, phthalate and BPA free.

By J. Donald
I'm a Dad who gets frustrated easily by diapering systems that require three people to get the job done. Ask my wife. She can't stand my constant grumbling about velcro that doesn't stick, or that pokes my baby's thighs or abdomen, about leak-throughs that require 3 loads of laundry daily to change sheets on beds, and little snaps that require fingers that are way less fat than my big paws.We finally tried one of these Bummis Super Snap covers and I felt so pleased that I am actually writing a diaper review. If my buddies could see me now!We tried all sorts of combinations and threw away tons of hard-earned money on organic this and that. Let me tell you- the cover does not need to be organic- as long as it's BPA-free I'm happy. It's the innards that count- so spend your money on some decent inner pad doohickies that are natural fiber and comfortable, and throw this cover over it. The inner pad doesn't even have to be fancy- we cut up several of the thin cotton receiving blankets we took home from the hospital into rectangles that we fold over several times and they work just fine. But don't forget the gasket. We discovered through way too much trial and error that if you put another doohickie between the inner absorbant pad and the outer cover it will really make those blow-out poops stay under control, and contain potential night-time leak-throughs. It doesn't really matter what the gasket is- just something thin that is wider than the inner pad and about the same size as the cover.I don't like the covers that have an inner liner you slip a pad into- it's a waste- you have to wash the whole rig after every little pee. We only have 4 covers and they last for days if we package up the insides right. Sometimes if we're traveling, though, we will leave these home and take some of the 7th Generation paper diapers with us- the only ones worth buying IMO and well worth the money to not have a bunch of chemicals on your precious cargo's precious parts. You'd be surprised which relatives don't want a well-rinsed poop diaper run through their $1,000 washing machine. Just have a little duct tape handy for the 7th Generation's wimpy side tabs if your kid is a real wiggler. That's the only thing that keeps them a 4-star instead of a 5 star for me. But I digress (I'm good at it- ask my wife). Speaking of duct-tape, if you must keep using the other diaper covers that are a pain in the arse, sometimes a quick duct tape job with get the job done quicker than wrestling with your midget on speed for 3 minutes trying to fit those tiny snaps together. The thing I really like about these Bummis Super Snap covers is that there are only 2 BIG snaps to mate on each side that are horizontal- not vertical. Let me tell you- those vertical ones are really difficult when your baby is standing/falling/wiggling all around/bending over during the pit stop. And all the others are too small. Takes three people to match them up and get the job done before junior is freaking out and I'm grumbling again. These Bummis Super Snaps are super easy to get together quickly and save a bunch of hassles. Everyone is happier. My fat fingers are happier. They clean up like new when messy, but you can use them several times without having to wash them just by packaging up the innards right with the gasket arrangement mentioned above. I'd buy them a size bigger than you need because your kid is only going to get bigger, right? And these snap pretty small around the waist if you want them too- although I recommend a loose waist for the little guy's comfort. His pants will hold them up. Mine do. They have a deep-dish design to them which allows for a big wad of whatever when the need arises without it squishing half-way up his back. They have plenty of room. Give the boys some space to move around a little. That's about all I have to say. Buy these things- they are cheap and will get the job done right the first time. Your husband will thank you!

i have bought quite a few different kinds of diaper covers on amazon, and the ones that were not bummis super snaps, i regret buying! these covers are really the best for us. they hold up, wash after wash. made well. and the snaps work great. too hard for baby to open, unlike the velcro that scratches tender skin, and after wear do not stay on, or are too easy for baby to take off.

I really like the way the size small fits over flats and prefolds on my 11lb. baby. I like the snaps because you don't have to think about folding down aplix tabs before you throw it in the washer. I also like how soft the elastic casing is. The only reason I'm giving this four stars is because I don't like that the PUL is covered with fabric on the inside. You have to wash it more often because it absorbs pee. Uncovered interiors you can just wipe clean and get a few more wears out of before it needs to be washed. I've had a couple instances of wicking due to the covered interior.
