Product Description
An all-in-one diaper design that combines the convenience of an all-in-one diaper while providing the absorbency adjustability of a pocket diaper. The diaper has pocket openings on both ends that allows you to increase the diaper's absorbency by adding extra inserts. This also enables any extra stuffed-in doubler or insert to agitate itself out in the wash. Half of the soaker pad is attached, while the other half also comes out through one of the pocket openings during the washing cycle. The unique thing about this diaper is that it has an attached stay-dry micro fleece layer on the soaker pad that will keep your baby's bottom dry. To use this feature, simply pull out the other half of the attached soaker pad and lay it over the body of the diaper. If you prefer all natural fabrics touching your baby's skin, simply keep the unattached portion of the soaker pad tucked inside the pocket.

These All-In-One (AIO) diapers are actually really nice and very trim. Most of my diapers have front closures but I have some that do side snapping (Booroi) and back closures (gDiapers). The difference between these side snapping and the others is that there are dedicated closure tabs and they are spandex like bumGenius. This makes them so much easier to close and helps keep everything super trim. The design of the diaper is really great. It's an AIO but with the added feature of a pocket for stuffing additional inserts or doublers when you need that extra bit of help, think nights, long naps, car rides... Even with the attached soaker we still went for several hours with no leaks and only after having done 2 prep washes instead of the typical 5-6. So they really do absorb very well even though they are super trim.Swaddlebees has very soft and almost silky PUL material so the outside is very smooth and soft. The patterns are lovely and I have not experienced any fading of the PUL (a little on the tabs after a few months of use but nothing drastic, no worse than my bumGenius tabs).I love that there is no stay-dry type of material like fleece or suede. The lining as well as the sewn in soaker are cotton so only natural fibers touch the baby. This also helps with keeping things stink free since I've noticed that synthetics tend to pick up the stinkies and hold them. I ditched my bumGenius AIO's because it would take so many extra washes to get the stink out after a poopy because of the suede and microfiber (nothing natural about the BG AIO, unless it's the elemental...but that's even worse dense cotton fibers hold ammonia too well). With the Simplex 2.0 I do not have any issues with poopy stinks lingering or ammonia buildup. The material is a looser weave cotton (close to a flat or prefold texture) so it releases soil easily and also absorbs liquids very quickly. I prefer this way.For naps I add 1 small BabyKicks Joey Bunz hemp insert and for nights I add a Thirsties Hemp insert (med/lg). I doubt I need the insert for naps but I err on the side of caution. We've never had a leak even though there have been times after 14 hours in a diaper and an all night nursing session where she's filled the diaper to capacity...still dry on the outside and dry clothes to boot.If these came in One-Size they'd be the perfect diapers.

These along with my TotsBots Easy Fits are the best diapers Ive ever had! So many cute patterns and so easy to use. I love that the "inserts" pop out during the wash and I dont have to touch them if its just a pee. They work GREAT! Ive had no leaks. I cant even think of one con with these diapers! Would STRONGLY recommend these to anyone.Experienced: Tots Bots, Swaddlebees, Fuzzibunz, BumGenius, Oh Katy, gDiapers, RumpARooz (These are nice too), Kushies AIOs, and Thirsties covers, pockets and AIOs.

The Swaddlebees Simplex is a great diaper for anyone thinking about cloth diapering! It is simple to use. The soaker insert does not have to be taken out of the diaper when you wash unlike so many others. The agitator in your washer will pull it out for you! No more having to touch the wet inserts! Once they've been washed and dried, just stuff the soaker back into the pocket (it is attached to the diaper) and you are ready to go again!
