The secret is the Slide²Size system, which adjusts the size of the diaper by letting you choose the size of leg openings, just like you'd work a drawstring bag and similar to high quality baby clothes and athletic gear. This diaper is so adjustable that it has no actual sizes at all! You can adjust the leg openings to be anywhere from 2" to 14". We've been using SoftBums with our baby girl since she was a few weeks old, and now with a big one-year-old, they are STILL our favorite diaper. In fact, we recently got rid of everything but our SoftBums, since they work so well and are so versatile.The Slide2Size sizing system is wonderful. I have tried other one-size diapers that have rise snaps on the front and hated them. With Slide2Size, you can tighten or loosen the leg elastic to fit from itty bitty to...well...not so itty bitty! I also like the snap in pods (inserts). Most of the time (with the exception of poo-splosion!), you can reuse the shell 2-4 times, allowing it to air dry in between uses. This means that you don't need to buy as many shells as you would with an all-in-one system, which means they save you even more money! Although with such darling prints and lovely colors, you WILL want to buy them all!

I've been using these for 11 months now, on both my toddler and my infant. These are the only cloth diaper I've used, but I love the amazing adjustability these possess. I think the slide2size adjustors are nothing short of genius. I get a one-size diaper that doesn't have all those ugly snaps on the front! My infant is a heavy wetter, and I could never seem to get these quite right for overnights, but they are fantastic for every day use, even nap times (and the redesigned Omni has solved our overnight issues). My toddler can go all night with this with just one dry touch pod and a doubler. The pods wash up nicely and aren't stained up or yucky looking. I love that there are so many options available for pods: dry touch, super dry touch, and organic bamboo. If you need a little extra, add in a doubler to help you get through a nap or long drive! I love the prints that are available, but I do wish there were more.
