I've been really pleased with this diaper so far. To begin with, one cover and two inserts is a great deal; mine were about $8.50 each. I actually started out with just one of these, but it was so cute that I bought two more. My son asks for the blue ones, so naturally, we needed more! I was surprised how good they are for the price.I've only used it for a few weeks now, but this one has been washed many times already since it's a favorite. The inner lining definitely keeps them dry, and it has not started to pill up like another cheap cloth diaper I bought at the same time. I don't know how it will hold up after another year, but I'm optimistic.The inserts they come with soaked up a lot. I do need two inserts at night; it once soaked the tummy area on my son when I didn't have an extra insert. I've used it as a pocket diaper, and I've also laid the insert on top of the whole diaper. Depends on what my goal is at the time. I have even restuffed the pocket on this when it feels pretty dry on top, but if the elastic area around the legs feels wet and I just change the whole thing. Saves me a little laundry, and they are so moisture wicking that it works. I have used a disposable liner once to see how that went, and it made clean up super easy. I will probably try that method with my third child due here soon so I don't have quite the mess before we're on to any solid food.I've had no leaks or blowouts, and it has already been road tested in a major way here. They've cleaned up really well and pretty easily. Look pretty much like new still. No sign of any rash or irritation from these whatsoever. Keeps them as dry as disposable diapers would, though on younger baby skin I don't know if there might be a sensitivity to this fabric. I will have my next baby in 3 months, so I may update once I know.The denim looks very cute and like real denim from a distance. Of course, it feels like satiny material and very soft, unlike denim. It looks really good with anything and will be nice if there is any running around without pants in the summer. Looks like a small summer brief kind of shorts much more than some cloth diapers do.My son seems to be happy and comfortable in these. Big bang for your buck here. I'm not going to drop big bucks on name brands of diapers when these are so awesome. Even if they only hold up well through one child, it'd be cheaper for me to buy more of these and avoid pricy cloth diapers.
