I bought these diapers for my newborn. They fit perfectly, but unfortunately the velcro pieces were made of very rough material and were designed in such a way that they rubbed against my baby's stomach causing scratches. It was terrible. I do not recommend.

By MamaGrace
I had already purchased pocket cloth diapers for my coming baby, but understood that they would probably be too large for my brand new baby and that they would come up too high on her abdomen for the umbilical cord. So, I purchased these newborn bummis with prefolds. I liked the quality and the 2 covers were so cute and stylish. They have a little dip in the front of the diaper for the umbilical stump, but it didn't dip far enough for my girl, unfortunately. My baby's stump didn't fall off until about 5 weeks old, so by the time that I tried these cover on her, her legs were getting too chubby, so the elastic around the legs was uncomfortable for her. Also, the velcro closures were very scratchy; I had to be very careful that they were completely secure to not scratch her delicate skin. I really couldn't use them in the end; maybe if her stump would have fallen off earlier...

By sew_so
This newborn pack is great. The prefolds are of great quality and the diaper covers are super cute and fit my 7lb 10 oz newborn really well until she reached 9.5 lbs. A few things to keep in mind...The diapers MUST be washed at least 5 times with cloth diaper safe detergent prior to using on your baby. If you plan on machine drying them, be prepared for significant shrinkage. If you are going to fold and stuff the diapers into the covers this isn't a huge issue but if you are going to secure the diaper to your baby with pins or a snappi you might find that they are quite snug and won't fit your baby for more than a couple weeks, if that (depending how big your baby is and how fast she grows). My baby outgrew these really quickly but I still use them daily for stuffing into pocket diapers and have used them in gdiapers with great success (a much cheaper alternative to purchasing the gcloth inserts or disposable inserts). She outgrew the covers in a matter of weeks but I still consider this item a worthwhile purchase.
