By M. Jackson
Caveat: I only have a 3 mth old, so I don't know how well this cover works for older babies. That said, I bought several different brands/types of diaper covers, including two other "one size fits all" covers, and this one beats the others hands down. The fabric is much softer and more flexible than any of the others. This makes a difference because all the excess fabric (it is "one size fits all," after all) isn't so bulky and in the way. Plus, of course, it feels nice! The whole thing seems very quality and well put-together. Most of my covers started to show wear after a few washes (I know, I know you're supposed to hand wash them, but yeah right!) usually the elastic starts to pill and wear. This has not shown any signs of wear so far, and the elastic is fully sewn inside the fabric, so not prone to wear like the others.I bought most of my covers in touch tape (Velcro) rather than snaps. THAT was a mistake -- I highly recommend the snaps, now. They are slightly more trouble to close, but more comfortable for baby -- the height and stiffness of the touch tape squashes her belly when she bends at the waste, it looks painful and makes it hard for her to sit. The snaps give her a lot more freedom of movement. Also, the touch tape does NOT hold up well in the wash -- "one size fits all" is useless if it only lasts for a few months. There are a LOT of snaps on this cover, making it VERY adjustable for both overall fit AND how tight it fits around the legs. Two things I could take points off for. First, "one size fits all," NEVER is, and isn't in this case. It would NOT have fit mine as a newborn. That is the case for all the "one size fits all" covers I tried -- this one is much better than the "Flip" cover in that regard. I started using this one at around 10 lbs or so, and it was bulky but usable at that point. Now she's around 12 lbs, and the fit is decent -- still a lot of extra fabric, but once again, because the fabric is so soft, it's not a problem.Second, because it is "covered" PUL (the waterproof fabric) with different layers of fabric, it does get stinky faster. I can only use it for about a day and a night, or maybe two-three days if I use something else at night, before it desperately needs a wash. The uncovered PUL covers can go for maybe a couple-few days and still be fairly fresh, especially if I give them a quick rinse. On the other hand, the layers of fabric in this make it extra-cushy and nice-feeling. So, there are trade offs both ways.Overall I LOVE this cover, I use it as much as possible and hate having to wash it because that means using a different cover. I will be buying more! They're a little pricier than other covers, but they'll also fit for a lot longer and are better quality. I expect they will last. Well worth the few bucks extra!Plus, of course... they come in the cutest darned colors and patterns! I have the red bandana one, I just can't decide among the others for what I'll buy next :)

By Port City Mom
I just started cloth diapering my 4 month old about a month and a half ago. I did tons of research on diaper covers and ordered several different brands and styles to try out. This is by far my favorite diaper cover. The fabric is really soft feeling and I love the adjustability of the snaps. I always wash this cover with my diapers (we use Green Mountain Diaper Co. prefolds) but I take it out to line dry. It drys a little bit slower than the non covered PUL covers. I also noticed once that the cover had absorbed some pee and was wet but not all the way through (because the PUL is between two layers of fabric) this doesn't happen with the other "wipe clean" exposed PUL covers. I also love that these covers do not have white edging around the legs like so many other covers. I don't know why other covers have that because those tend to get a little stained with newborn poop, but with these covers they are the same color inside and out. The only thing I don't like is that they put the tag inside the diaper cover near the snap tabs and I always worry it is going to scratch my baby, I really need to cut it off before I use it next. Most other diaper covers have the tag on the outside of the cover. I have the blueberry color and it is a really nice rich blue. I am going to order the Moo Cow, Antonio Bandana, and Ocean colors next. I love these covers and I know we will get a lot of use out of them.

So the title of the review says most of how I feel. This thing will NOT fit a newborn unless your newborn is the size of a 5 month old. If you snap it down so that it's the smallest possible, the fit is very strange--the corners that fasten down in the front sort of work their way out of position. The material is very soft and breathable seeming and doesn't seem to stain easily. I will say that we haven't really had a leaking issue with this, but we also don't use this cover very often. I'm sure we will like it more once the baby is older (maybe like 7-8 months; baby is long but skinny).
